Discover an original site in Paris, near the legendary "Place du Tertre" where you can celebrate Valentine's Day.
What's the best place in Paris to say "I love you" ?
Montmartre of course, and preferably on February 14th, Valentine's Day.
One wonderful stage to this delightful ritual :
The best is opposite the "Je t'aime" wall, hidden away in the Abbesses square (Jehan Rictus square). "I love you" is written 311 times in 250 languages on a 40 m2 enamelled-lava coated monument made of 511 tiles traced from sheets of paper on which artist Frédéric Baron collected the handwritten originals. The dasches of colour on this gigantic fresco represent the pieces of a broken heart : the heart of mankind, so often broken and which this famous wall strives to mend.
